Index Manager is the archive solution which allows you to combine storage of files in ordinary folders on a Windows server with full-value indexing and fast relocating.

Index Manager can handle hundred thousands of images without problems. New images are immediately indexed and available for search and relocation as they are stored in an archive folder.

Index Manager indexes images, advertisements and finished pages. It also supports field search in addition to free text search and use of search operators like AND, OR, NOT and NEAR.

Index Manager supports advanced field searches. For example if you are looking for photographs taken by photographer X, but not the images where X is in the photograph, you can limit the search to the Byline/Photographer field.

You may also search for images in portrait/landscape format, color/grayscale, various file formats, images’ history (has the image been printed, copied, dropped in layout software etc.) and a combination of all these.

In addition to images, Index Manager can index PDF documents like completed newspaper pages or advertisements produced from QuarkXPress documents.
